  • Ways of making iambic meter fresh, nonderivative, and unburdened of its heavy legacy;
  • current and possible uses of mixed iambic-anapestic, accentual, dipodic, and falling meters;
  • the function of meter in attracting interesting words and ideas to the compositional process;
  • descriptions & prospects of effective rhythmical structures within stealth meters, free verse, and prose poems.
